These are all paintings entirely or partially completed "en plein air" (outdoors on location).

My studio paintings are all painted using smaller plein air sketches for reference, so they have the same light quality as the smaller outdoor works. But many of them also have deeper personal meaning because of the emotions and memories they evoke.

These drawings/paintings were all done either entirely or partly "alla prima" from life.
