Michael McGuire Art

I intend to use this blog to give visitors an insight into how I work. Therefore, in the main, it will consist of progress images of my work from concept to finished stages, with explanation of my thoughts and the artistic decisions taken at each stage. For the sake of honesty, it is my intention to include everything, including those paintings which are started, but never finished. While the site and blog are primarily aimed at existing and potential collectors, I am more than happy to reply to other artists who have an interest in painting visual reality and share a similar passion for capturing the true beauty of nature.
